Federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and Bonus Adders

Until 2033, you can claim 30% of your solar system costs as a tax credit, with no cap to the value you can claim. Solar is considered 5-year property by the IRS creating the eligibility for accelerated depreciation. At minimum, accelerated depreciation helps expense the project faster than most capital investments.
