This large commercial solar project was installed for Koerner Distributors in Effingham, IL. Koerner’s is one of Illinois’ largest beer, malted beverages, wine and spirits distributor. Family-owned and operated since 1982, Koerner’s Effingham warehouse is a large electricity consumer. This solar array mounted on the membrane roof is estimated to generate approximately 90% of current electricity usage. The system was sized as large as possible without triggering additional electrical service upgrades.
