EFFINGHAM, ILLINOIS., For the 3rd year in a row, Solar Power World has ranked Tick Tock Energy, Inc. as one of 2017’s Top 500 Solar Contractors in the United States. Ranking at 431st on the list, Tick Tock Energy earned this honor by installing 453 kW of solar in 2016 and continuing its installation of unique and high quality projects. The Top Solar Contractors list is developed by Solar Power World to recognize the work completed by solar contractors across the United States. Produced annually, the Top Solar Contractors list celebrates the achievements of U.S. solar developers, subcontractors and installers within the utility, commercial and residential markets.
After 11 years in business, 2017 has been Tick Tock Energy’s busiest year and founders Eric and Craig Pals are preparing for more growth. Having completed installations in St. Louis, Indianapolis, and throughout greater Illinois, the company’s reach continues to expand. Illinois’ solar market is flourishing and so is Tick Tock Energy!
A highlight of the year was completing Effingham’s largest commercial project, a 104 kW solar array for a new Truck Centers Inc. facility. The array features 304 solar panels, helping meet the majority of the building’s electricity needs while significantly lowering the utility costs. At completion of the project, Tick Tock Energy conducted an education and training session for the Effingham Fire Department on solar safety. Safety is a top priority, so it’s important to Tick Tock Energy that emergency responders are aware of how the system operates.
As the end of 2017 approaches, Tick Tock Energy enjoys reflecting on the success they have seen this year and looks forward to providing more energy solutions to cut utility costs for their current and future customers!
