Title: Tick Tock Energy, Inc. completes construction of wind generator on 100-foot tower for Shelbyville retiree

Teutopolis, IL -- Shelbyville resident Jim Macari won't be
spending much time worrying about his monthly electricity bills.
Last month, Teutopolis-based Tick Tock Energy, Inc. completed
installation of a new 10 kW Bergey wind turbine at Macari's home, a
move that will help significantly lower his energy bills each
month.
The cutting-edge residential wind generator, which has an energy
production life expectancy of roughly 30 years, will help Macari
cut down on the costs of providing electricity for his home-a huge
relief for this 80-year-old retiree who, like so many folks in
central Illinois, has been grappling with escalating electricity
rates and other energy prices.
The new turbine is mounted on a 100-foot self-supporting tower
and will generate more renewable electricity each month, while
eliminating the guy-wires. "Taller towers help wind generators
produce more electricity by capturing less turbulent and
faster-moving air found at higher elevations," said Craig Pals,
Tick Tock vice president. Overall, he can expect to save between
$120 and $180 each month, depending on the wind."
"Uncle Jim is a real forward thinking guy," said Eric Pals, Tick
Tock president. "He didn't wait for anyone to tell him to protect
his family against rising electricity prices, but instead,
understood full well that by installing a renewable energy system,
he can eliminate the worry about energy prices in the future by
generating free electricity."
Tick Tock's trademarked "REDUCE-PRODUCE-MANAGEĀ® strategy can
help businesses and homeowners REDUCE their energy costs through
installation of energy-efficient products; PRODUCE clean, renewable
energy on their property using wind and solar power systems; and
MANAGE their energy use and costs through advanced sub-metering,
Web-based energy monitoring practices, consulting, and other
services .
In addition to lower energy bills, Tick Tock strives to help its
clients obtain grant funding and other tax and utility incentives
available for businesses and homeowners who upgrade their energy
systems and monitoring practices.
"In today's economy, any business or homeowner that opts for
changes to make their facility or house more "green" or
sustainable, can benefit from the growing list of local, state, and
federal agencies offering these incentives," said Eric Pals. "Plus,
they reap recurring rewards in knowing they are contributing to
efforts to help our country become more energy independent."
Tick Tock Energy, Inc. was started in 2006 is based in the
central Illinois town of Teutopolis, IL located adjacent to
Effingham near the intersection of interstates I-57 and I-70. The
